Right now, we’ve raised $200,000 of the $300,000 needed to operate the home this year. That means we’re $100,000 short of giving these 14 children the safe, loving home they deserve for a full year.

• $21,428.57 per child annually for complete care
• $1,785.71 per child monthly for all their needs

• $58.71 per child daily to provide everything they need to thrive

The children at Advocates of Love have endured hardships no child should ever face. Many arrive with deep trauma, broken hearts, and little hope for the future. But God sees them. He knows their pain. And He has called us to be His hands and feet, providing safety, stability, and the unconditional love of Christ.
More Than a Home, A Place of Healing and Redemption
Every day, our home becomes a sanctuary where these wounded children can begin to heal. Here, they experience what many have never known: three warm meals, a safe bed, medical care when they’re sick, and adults who reflect the Father’s heart. We invest in their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing because we believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and deserves a chance to thrive.
Here’s what it costs to provide that healing:
• $21,429 per child annually for comprehensive care
• $1,786 monthly per child for food, shelter, healthcare, education, and therapy
• $59 annually per child for trauma-informed counseling and psychological support
But God is faithful, and the transformation is real.
Over the years, we’ve witnessed the Lord do what only He can do. Children who arrived withdrawn and afraid now laugh, play, and dream about their futures. Academic performance improves dramatically once basic needs are met and trauma begins to heal. We’ve seen behavioral changes, emotional growth, and most importantly, hope restored through the love of Jesus.“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” - Psalm 147:3
These aren’t just statistics. They’re precious children experiencing the healing power of Christ’s love. And it’s only possible because donors like you obey James 1:27: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”

The US based organization, Advocates of Loves is an approved 501-3C. Under the guidance of its board of directors, Advocates of Love provides awareness, is responsible for fund raising; oversees the operations of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the Dominican Republic and approves all activities required to operate the Children’s Home.
The Dominican Republic based organization, Fundacion Defensores De Amor, is an approved NGO. The NGO, in partnership with local churches, is accountable for the daily operations and responsibilities of the Children’s Home, community care program and children’s churches.
