March was a busy month for us at Advocates of Love! We had many visitors from different places!

Mission Trips

In Mid-March, Hope Bible Church Niagara visited us on a mission trip. During the trip, they participated in an event at the local school where they shared testimonies and what life in Canada is like. They handed out baby clothing and environmentally-friendly diapers, participated in three church services, organized a program for community children that had fifty in attendance, and held a community movie night! The group left us with lasting memories, gifts, and God’s love. 

Operation Christmas Child

The children received shoeboxes from Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. We found out these boxes were from at least two churches in Texas. The children loved the toys and items they received in the boxes and were very thankful for the donations. If you have filled a shoebox in the past or have an opportunity to in the future, know that the children who receive these boxes are very appreciative of them! 

Birthdays: 

Keiry had a birthday and is now 11! She enjoyed a delicious cake and had a fun birthday, despite the power outage!

Other Visits

We had a visit from a family that vacations in Las Terrenas and they did three fun art activities with the children!

Church Update

Adaisa started a bible class for the children each Saturday morning. They are learning more about the bible and how to read it and understand it and enjoying each class so far! 

Gabe's Update

This month we continued to meet regularly. By the grace of God, there were two people who accepted Christ. We had a wonderful church visiting us from Canada who made possible a great deal of evangelism in the community. Both of the new believers happened to be people that were served by the church from Canada. Thank you for your prayer and support. God bless you!
